Dilemma for my upcoming Half Marathon
I just received the much coveted EN Visor along with some other EN gear. Well if I wear it that means I have to give up my lucky visor, which I have had for several years and I have always finished my race while wearing that visor. Do I chance DNF with a new untested visor? Do I continue my streak and wear the old one.
I think when I get home I will have to take pictures of my old visor to show you all the luck in it so you can make an informed decision.

Steven, I'm with you, man. In 05, at IMMoo, I finished 4th and got a Kona alot, along with a red visor which I've worn in races ever since. Not only is it lucky and sentimental for me, but it is also easily visible by family and friends on the race course.
I've now got an EN visor, and in the past year I have come to view EN as my Triathlon Home and Family. I am going to wear that visor for the first time at IM CDA with pride.
Take the leap into the unknown - your Mojo may just take a leap upwards as well.
As you can all the luck rub into my Trifury visor and there in the EN one brand spanking new UNTESTED!
You know that you ate too many hot dogs during a run if you dnf a half mary :-)
The new one looks pretty lucky to me.
I wore the new one walking around today, the old one was jealous. I like Nemo's idea. I will wear it before and after and wear the tested one during the race.
@Nemo WASH IT thats crazy talk.
I was thinking that my new, pink chica visor is going to be hard for me to wear in the WI marathon. I have my "lucky" cap that saw me through two IMs! So I get the dilemma. I think Nemo has the answer. But when it comes time to change before the race, if it doesn't feel right, and the EN visor feels mojo-filled, then you transferred the juju--go with the EN one. OTOH, if it feels flat or wrong, switch to the old one. Gotta vibe this one out, absolutely.
And no kidding, Officer Ford, the thing needs a swish. Careful it doesn't just crawl off your head.
