George Penn Rev3 Maine

In my opinion, the North Atlantic Ocean was cold. Rev3 stated it was 64 degrees but it felt like 34 degrees.image
I'm not sure if I can compare Rev Quassy and Rev Maine but my swim and bike were both faster in Old Orchard Beach. My swim at OOB was 1' faster and my bike was 23' faster. I couldn't do the run to a nagging achille's issue.
Now on to some marathon training.

  • George I cant believe I didnt run into you? Saw Mariah, Laura, and one other EN'er out on the OLY course but NO George... Sorry to hear about your DNF , take care of that achille's ! I'm an absolute freeze baby and thought that water was comfy :-) Love that race! Quassy is a beast compared to OOB.... What Marathon are you doing?
  • I think I'm going to have to purchase an EN shirt to get noticed. image I would have thought being 6'1" and 205 would really make me stand out but I guess not. Lol
My wife decided to do the run portion of the relay to get her run in for the day. Rev3 puts on such a nice event. We truly enjoy them.
I'm getting geared up for the HMRRC Marathon in Albany, NY. The majority of the course is flat and fast. This will be my first one, so it just looking for a decent time.
