2017 Key Races Final Announcement

You might recall we launched a survey to get your vote for the remaining Key Races for the 2017 season. Well, you and your teammates have spoken with your votes -- now all you have to do is sign up online to join your teammates!

Note: These races were determined based off of historic team performance, maximum on-site experience, and, new for 2017, voted on by the members.

The 2017 Key Races are:

• Ironman 70.3 Puerto Rico - March 12, 2017
  
  Rev3Quassy (Oly, Half) -- June 3/4, 2017

• Ironman® Lake Placid -- July 23, 2017

• Ironman Santa Rosa -- July 29, 2017 (West Coast Key Race!)

• Ironman Mont Tremblant -- August 20, 2017 (You voted!!)

• Ironman® Chattanooga --  September 24, 2017

• Ironman World Championship - October 7, 2017  

What is a Key Race?

A Key Race is when the entire team focuses on a specific event. Our goal is to get as many people on the ground as possible for Maximum Mojo. It’s a fantastic weekend and tons of fun. This is a chance for many of you to meet some of your teammates for the first time and to experience live coach support. If you are looking to race with the team and the coaches, this is where you should be.

So if you’re still undecided about what race to do next year, we recommend you consider joining us and 30-50+ or your teammates at one of our 2017 Key Races!

Yes!!! Unless lightning strikes (KQ) or a great white eats me at IMSA, then I am in for IMNC!! I am excited about finally landing a KEY race.

BTW - although I age up to M60 on 1 Jan 17, I actually turn 60 on 21 Oct 2017.  It's a sign.

Have to see how I feel after IMoo this weekend, but if I can sell the wife on it, I plan on IMMT next year. Glad to see it selected as a key race!

Hmmm...was thinking of doing 2 IM in one year and I'm already in for IMLP, IMNC was my other thought. Wonder if I can handle two key races in one year???? Thinking, thinking.

hmmm.        IM NC is the former Battleship thing ?             Looks like Wilmington is a lot closer drive then Chattanooga for my east coast/new jersey family.

Now that Ironman North Carolina is no longer happening, we've decided that the new Ironman Santa Rosa will be a key race for 2017 AND our first West Coast Key Race!

And to support this event I will offer a Southwest Race Execution Training Camp in the IMSR course June 22nd through the 25th. Registration coming shortly!

Nuts! 2017 wasn't supposed to be an IM year but Santa Rosa as a key race! That's 8 hours from my house and it's in July. Perfect. Not sure I can talk the hubs into it but maybe......

IMSR! I backed into this one. I registered for IM Vineman before they pull the rug out. Total reversal of fortunes that this now becomes a key race. So psyched!!
