PT CPU eating batteries

 I have replaced my cpu's batteries 4 times since Dec.  I didn't do it once last year from April to Nov. and I did an IM, any reasons?  Thanks.

    Are you removing the CPU from the cradle after you download? I seem to recall reading that if the CPU remains in the cradle that can cause the battery to discharge.

    Agree with Al. When I got mine, I left it in the cradle and was changing batteries every few weeks. Now I take it off as soon as it clears, much less battery changing.
