Wendy Watson end of 2016 season
Thanks for the post IMWI training bridge to IMFL.
I received someone else's screencast. Your plan is pretty self-explanatory( I don't need a screencast) but I wanted to make sure it got sent to the right person.
Eventually would welcome some advice on how to plan out 2016. Tentatively planning on 70.3 Texas to get started on some warm weather racing. Would be interested in any advice for good "racing in the heat races" to get better prepared for Hawaii in October 2017.
Thanks!!

In my opinion, seeking out heat adaptations closer to Kona, and learning how your body deals with heat in a training environment, would be a better, cheaper route than picking hot races months and months out from Kona for which you're not yet adapted to. In other words, if you do a hot race without first (1) having had some heat adaptation and (2) learning you have do any funky stuff to help you manage the heat, then all you've done is spent a lot of money to get hammered by the heat in a race . So let's work to put together a schedule that's fun, keeps you engaged and your training consistent, then focus on training in hot weather beginning about 3wks out from Kona.
