IMCHOO "Game Ball" + 2 more awards
EN AWARDS
Game Ball - Master of Mojo - Super Sherpa
IMCHOO Game Ball goes to the one and only Michael Blackburn - Mike has been with EN since 2009 - as a pillar in the EN haus you've probably seen his posts around the forums. Mike's dedication to this sport is inspiring. As he started to chase the Kona dream, his EN team was right behind him. This year at IMCHOO - he put it all together for a great race day and pulled it off! MIKE, YOU'RE GOING TO KONA!!! To top that off, he's racing IMAZ in a couple weeks also..... but we don't call that crazy in our sport, we call that dedicated! Ive never seen Mike without a smile and an encouraging word, and this race weekend proved the same. He lead the EN race all day with focus and a positive attitude. Well deserved game ball goes to Mike - thank you for all you do for the sport, for the team and for others watching you. We sure are proud!
IMCHOO Master of Mojo goes to our beloved Yvette Metz. If you have had the privilege of speaking to, racing with or knowing this sweetheart, then you know good and well why she is the Master of Motivation for this race. Yvette's determination is unlike anything we have ever seen. Life continues to throw challenges at her and she just looks them in the eye with a smile and says, "I can handle that too" She is so humble and even declined this award when we presented it to her on Monday - but an overwhelming "YES YOU ARE" came from the team, complete with hugs, smiles and some tears.... so sorry Yvette, you motivate us whether you like it or not! ha! I can't wait to see you cross your Ironman Finish Line - Im sure there won't be a dry eye in the place. Your team loves you very much! Keep up the awesome work!
IMCHOO Super Sherpa goes to Jim Hogan - this amazing fella is the picture of what an ambassador is like. He wasn't even racing IMCHOO and drove up from Atlanta to support the team. He came in early to help me, and I have to say, He never complains and jumps in with a can do attitude. Jim, I don't think you realize how thankful I was to have you with me this weekend. Your positive attitude is contagious and in those harsh conditions this weekend, we needed a big ol dose of JIM! Jim stood out there in the blazing heat with me to motivate STRANGERS! He helped me move the team tent, set up for 4keys and went out on the bike course to continue the supporting. Always sporting his EN swag with pride. He stayed up past midnight to make sure every athlete crossed the finish line and helped me with pictures. When a teammates wife needed help getting her racers bike and gear, Jim leaped into action and helped! Jim..... YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR! Thank you for all you do for our team, we literally couldn't do it without you!
OK TEAM - LETS HEAR IT FOR THESE THREE AMAZING ATHLETES! Everyone at IMCHOO was fantastic, and each and every single one of you deserve awards. We are so blessed to have a team that is FAMILY!

Mike, you've been there with encouraging words through my whole summer after my event in Grand Rapids. Thanks. I most appreciate the kind thoughts.
Yvette, I did a cannonball! Master of mojo...no doubt.
Jim, when Virginia needed you the most, you were right there for her. For that I am in your debt.
It has been my pleasure to race with you this weekend in Chattanooga.
Yvette, nice meeting you and I know you're going to get it done!
Jim - thank you for your help, friendship and taking care of Nancy during the weekend...you're the best
Congrats Jim and Yvette! Jim, you and Mariah were everywhere last weekend and you gave a lift to us every time we passed! Yvette, you inspire me and everyone on the Team with your indomitable spirit. Thank you both! Receiving the "game ball" for Chattanooga is such an honor from an amazing team and support crew. Thank you Mariah, Pat, Don and everyone on the Team. Last weekend was so tough, but so fun and each and every person contributes in their own way to make Team EN great. I love being part of that crew! Thanks to all for a great time and see you at the races, (maybe IM Arizona if you plan to make that your next). Love this Team!
