IMLP Camp

 Anyone ever done this camp but brought your camping gear?  I'm only 3 hrs away, would love to meet everyone, not doing IMLP but getting bored because my race isn't until Sept, and I have a weekend to cash in because my wife is a saint.  Problem, she isn't working so half our income is gone, and I'd like to make the trip expenses gas and food.  I've stayed at south meadow a bunch of times, but am worried about my odor for the dinners!  Anyone toughed it out in the woods for this weekend?

No ideas about the camping out but hear Action Wipes are great for cleaning up!

 Been there!!!  I guess the older I get, the more civilized I get, its sad.

There's a nice campsite right next to Tail O' the Pup in Saranac that I've camped for IMLP in 2008 (the torrential rain year). There are public bathrooms with showers. I think it was only 10$ a night. I brought my tri bike and locked it to the bike rack on the car. Felt safe and found out how awesomely water/rain proof my tent was.

x2 for the campground near Tail o Pup. We stayed there...it's a NYS campground. I found it very nice!

Hi Dan -
I'd be happy to let you hose off at my room, as well as would others. I guess maybe just don't wash your underwear in the sink ala Planes, Trains and Automobiles See you up there.

 You guys are great, I appreciate all the info and offers!  I'll finalize plans with my family to make sure that my stuff isn't on the front lawn when I get home, and hopefully I'll see you all up there.  Thanks again!

I have showered at High Peaks Cycles before too...but don't know if those rooms are "public". Can't wait to see the pics!
