Random thoughts after riding with Coach Dick this weekend
1. Rich is a very strong cyclist... and I am weak. Sorry I held you back, Rich.
2. The "strong" riders at RMCC got nothing on Rich.
3. Wind sucks.
4. Somebody needs to teach the RMCC group about group riding etiquette.
5. Even in Boulder the rednecks are plentiful. Several honks and "F**k yous" heading up Coal Creek Canyon on Sat.
6. If the EN thing doesn't work out, Rich has a future selling minivans... he almost had me sold after Saturday's ride.
Great to see you again, Rich. I'm going to lobby hard to come out to the TOC camp next year... or if you try the Colorado camp again, maybe I'll try to do that one.

Hey Steve,
Thanks for the ride! It's shame the guys that we ended up riding with turned out to be dumbasses because it would have been more fun to ride with other people. For the Team, the short story of Saturday's ride was:
Yeah, suprised that such a big, seemlingly well organized club had such a poor ride brief, started so late (30' is off the charts bad, unacceptable) and poor group ettiquette.
@ Rich - That is some of the funniest $hit I've ever read! Flipped the switch to Coach Dick and opened up a can on his a$$!
That was funny but I feel that other guys pain when guys like you just "open the can" and ride away like that. NOT that I've been in Mr. Dickhead's shoes and let you do all the work, take a short pull then expect you to pull again BUT....
Vince
Nobody can out dick Coach Dick.
Lmao.

That's ok, Rich was 'that guy' on Day 5 at ToC. Dan, Brian, and I were trading blows trying to anihilate each other while Rich sucked and sucked, and sucked wheel. Then we all said, ok, first town line or stop ahead sign is the end and we race to that.
A minute later, on inside information provided to him by Joe who parked the vans and rode backwards to meet us, Rich surged ahead and made his own finish line at the vans. There was a heated discussion and protest to follow, but Rich's response,
"That's bike racing.' We thought otherwise. All in good fun.
