Hello Coach Rich
I am working to heal a hamstring tendinitis post IM Choo :-( According to the STR, I am to begin the Advanced Out Season Run Durability and follow it until 2/5. I need about four weeks of light running and reassess my running condition. What other plan do you suggest that I replace the Advanced OS Run Durability with for the next four weeks? and then reassess if I can move into it ... fyi - my 2017 calls for running the Boston M and IM Kona. I look forward to your feedback Thanks Giselle

Sorry to hear that! How's your bike? Any limitations there?
I have some discomfort on the bike but nothing like during the run. So, I have been primarily swimming and cycling and doing some light running - the awesomeness of being a triathlete :-) look forward to your guidance Tx
Ok, in that case I recommend you do the Bike Focus plan for 4wks, with the goal of getting your hamstring and run back to 100%. So if you need to back off the cycling in order to make that happen, do that.
Let me know if you need anything else!
Hi Coach Rich
Hope you had a great Holiday Season. I have changed my plans somewhat and need your assistance updating my plan.
I'm still going to run the Boston M in April but dropped the importance of that race for me and I'm just going to run it and enjoy it as much as I can. But, I have signed up for the new 70.3 Panama City May 13, 2017 and then Kona IM.
I've just pulled up the advanced 70.3 training plan and it is already into week 2. My plan unless you indicate otherwise, is to move forward w/ that plan but I need your guidance as to where to include the long runs that I will need for the Boston M.
I look forward to your feedback. Cheers, Giselle
I've asked Patrick to hit this thread and answer your question about modifying the EN*Half plan for Boston. Standby!
Can you do me a favor and submit a new TSR request for me? I want to make sure we capture these current races, your current fitness/training etc. Here's the link: http://members.endurancenation.us/TrainingPlan/TriathlonSeasonRoadmap.aspx
Thanks!
Got your TSR submission, thanks. One more question: please remind me how much / what weeks of the OutSeason did you before you loaded up the EN*Half training plan? Let me know, thanks!
