Lake Placid Training Camp

I have considered racing IMLP but not too seriously as the date doesn't fit into my family/work life.  I wonder if the Lake Placid training camp would meet several options - learn a lot for my next IM whenever that might be (probably 2018), get to experience Lake Placid and tack on a side trip in NY with my bike since it will be with me!  I assume the camp gives you a lot of training volume over a few days, do you get to ride the entire course? I understand the swim depends on weather but hopefully get to do the full swim or at least learn some good open water tips. And how much of the run course do you get to do? Is it ok to join the party if I don't plan to race it this year?

These camps are "regional race execution camps," in that we (1) teach you how to race any Ironman and then (2) you practice those processes on an Ironman course. Patrick does this IMLP camp and I do a camp on the IM Chat course, but the idea is anyone can do any of these camps and learn a ton about Ironman racing. Yes, the camps generally include a 112 mile bike, 6 mile run on Friday, and a short bike and shorter run on Saturday, and one loop of the run course (13.1 miles) on Sunday. Yes, fine to attend if you don't plan on racing. Bottomline is you will learn a TON and train a lot too...but the learning is the true value of these camps.
