Weekly training schedule flexibility w/crazy work weeks

So I work in a hospital with 10 hr shifts that are all over the place during a given day (start time highly variable) and week. I've read you can work with coach to modify week a bit but every week is pretty different for me. I tend to love my mid week day(s) off to do big training day and minimize impact of my training on my family. I also have no ability to stay indoors in nice weather and jump at opportunities to play on amazing Colorado weather days and lately I am definitely over training with an incredible fall knowing winter is going to force me inside pretty soon.  It's the out season, no major races for several months so I'm allowing myself to enjoy life right now and do lots of different stuff.  But wondering how flexible the weekly rest day is to fit on day I have no time to work out (generally Tues best for me) vs assigned Monday.

    Hey Kim,

Moving things around in the OutSeason is generally pretty harmless, just be smart with how one workout may affect downstream sessions. However, as the volume of the plans increases (for example, in the late weeks of the EN*Half or EN*Full training plans), it can become more difficult to move things around, but we can have that discussion when the time comes.
