Spread brick over two days?

Instead of taking a rest day during the week can I spread my weekday brick workouts over two days due to work and family schedule and still get desired results?

  • David, this time of year, yes. The bricks are there for workout simplicity (two workouts, one shower, etc), but really run frequency is our focus. If you achieve that in a way that keeps your family happy but you log the miles, DO IT!

    When we get in season, particularly close to your races, then bike-to-run sessions will be more important.
