Escape from Alcatraz

I awoke this morning to find that my name was selected in the Escape from Alcatraz lottery. Any pros/cons to entering this would be much appreciated as I'm trying to justify the expenses associated with this race. Is it worth it??

Wife and i did around 2008.

Stayed at youth hostel right at the race site. Neat.

bucket list race, one of a kind and incredible views - more people wearing ironman gear at Alcactraz then there are at an ironman race.

Pros...
did it way back in 2006 and 2007 and it was awesome! I'm from NorCal originally so I saw views of the city I've never seen before! Total bucket list race! Once in a lifetime.

Cons...
cost. The race isn't cheap. The city isn't cheap.
