Missed posting my 2nd run of the weeks on Friday 7' running over 30' total session. Thing are still feeling good. One more 7' run planned for today after the bike.
Got my longish run in yesterday...felt good...9miles..finsihing the final two miles hard but not quite Z4...still felt good....also 3 mile brick after outdoor hill repeat session on the bike today....you may have noticed by schedule is out of whack...business travel forcing me to move workouts around...
Strong Sunday hard run this morning. Less than optimal recovery yesterday due to competing demands, however the 2x1 mile intervals we very strong pushing up towards z5. Happy with the effort and week of running - 30.2 miles this week.
I DO need to start hitting the other threads. Bad week, those of you following the bike thread will note that I succumbed to one of the bad bugs out there (are there good ones?) Closed out the week with two strong runs, an 8+ miler at 8:05s yesterday https://www.strava.com/activities/846969742 and a 7+ miler at 8:15s with a lot more elevation in Rockefeller State Park. https://www.strava.com/activities/848593699
Week 3 in the books-I got wed/sun long runs in but no Brics due to lingering jet lag and work obligations. My punishment for two week Japan trip was lots of call this past week. Today-6 mi all at TRP/MAF HR. I will start adding 20% z4-5 someday....
I spent a long weekend in Naples and only ran, in shorts, which was lovely! Did my Wednesday run on Tuesday, but didn't have any extra energy for the tempo mile. Got my rides in Weds, Thurs. and Saturday, all the bricks were good. Today I ran outdoors NOT in shorts lol, and did the run as prescribed. Usually I run too fast to start and can't run well after the TH repeats. Not today. Happy with the run and it felt really good, other than running in lots of layers for the chilly weather. I got a serious beat down massage which was very much needed Friday and I plan on working that in every couple weeks. Worth it!
I got out there and ran outside in the sun even though I usually do my interval runs indoors. Conditions were pretty nice. My main pace was just a little over 8:00. Mile intervals were 6:44 and 6:55, both of which were a bit too fast. I'm glad it went well, but I am also a tiny bit worried because I have a sore spot on my leg now a few hours later. I am hoping it will be fine in a couple of days. ;-)

My 3rd run of the week is in the books with 7' - 4X1.5' (2.5) and 1X1' running; 25' total time (1.5 miles). I'm almost half way to a 5K test.
Hit my stretch goal of 21' running for the week. Still contemplating next weeks goal time, mostly based on how I feel on Monday.

Slowly learning to focus better on working hard during the run intervals while carrying some weekly fatigue....difficult but possible.
Enjoying the read on all your posts!
