Endurance Nation 10 Year Birthday Celebration Challenge
If you’ve not heard yet (you must be living under a rock), we are celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary/Birthday.
We plan to celebrate the WHOLE year, but for now, we want to get started with a little challenge. Keep in mind that 10 is the magic number.
So what are we asking you to participate in? We want you to complete a Triathlon that consists of a 1000 yd/1km swim, 10mile/16km bike*, 6.2 mile/10km run.
Everyone who participates gets their name in a drawing for a Rudy Project Gift Bag and a kewl badge to put on their signature block and social media.

Unfortunately I'm no where near the running required to hit the 10K. Unless I can get some kind of exemption to stack in my runs over say two weeks I'm out officially out. My goal this week is 30-35' of running with a stretch goal of 39' (~4.8-5 MPH). Alternatively I could included my additional walking and get it done over 3 days.
Having asked I don't expect an exemption and will try to get the challenge completed off the books. This means I have to get to the pool prior to week 11 of the JOS, probably not a bad thing.
Mark, you are hilarious
Ross - they originally had 100 yards for the swim. I said...what?...with the admin involved in getting to and from the pool, it is not worth it to do 100 yards. I suggested the 1000 yards (still a derivative of 10) because I thought that even the short course people could do that and it is just a warm-up for the ironman on the team. I will be banging the drums on a weekly basis. Let's all do the same on the dashboard so we can get some epic participation.
I am seeing a lot of ladies names with no information entered! Come on Chica's! Let's get this DONE!
All done! Had to wait out a large thunderstorm and ended up riding on the trainer because of the weather, but otherwise it was a beautiful day.
Swim 1100 yards (I figure this was about 1000m) 21:48
Bike 10 miles 35:29 on Zwift London course
Run/walk 10 kilometers 1:20:xx
