Myrtle Beach Marathon and Half Marathon March 4th
Just curious if any other ENers are running the full or half? I'm in the for the half. Will be my first one. Have only done fulls prior. Have an unspeakable wager with a buddy. Either way, mostly looking forward to the after party at the House of Blues for a full blown cheat night.

I am planning to do the 2019 edition. ITBS ate my 2018 trip to Myrtle Beach and I took a deferral.
This years conditions were evil. A stiff 20 mph head wind all day long. I'm out this year but running the Diva Half in May as my wife likes to run the 5K and my parents place is at at the start finish line. Might as well. Using it as my end of out season test race. Hopefully its not 100% humidity like this year.
@Brian Terwilliger do you know the date for Krispy Kreme Challenge 2019? Might actually make it down this year if i can get off work.
@Josh Church Feb 2. Registration opens this Friday.
I ran it in 2014 under similarly windy conditions. That's the problem with both MB and Shamrock -- could be great running weather or it could be super windy!
I'm not sure that KKC is good for marathon training. What say you? 😄
Sometimes ya gotta break up the brutality that is marathon training with some fun. I just did my long run and doing the Beer Mile at CBC in Holly Springs tonight.
Hmm. I'll put KKC down as a maybe. I'm halfway looking for a Jan/Feb half marathon that pretty local.
There's Ocean Isle and Holden Beach and perhaps the Heart and Sole half in Goldsboro (It's not posted yet and I asked the Goldsboro Y about it but I haven't received a response).
