Core diet & Endurox question
Hello- I've been looking into the Core Diet on the EN site. I follow a pretty similar diet, but what concerns me is the lack of fat that they are recommending. I do a lot better on full-fat dairy, butter, etc which I think helps my blood sugar stay lower. But maybe there is a reason to lower the fat- GI issues when training, maybe? I'm also wondering about Endurox. I've been losing a little more weight than I'd like and I know I need to do something immediately after exercise- Has anyone tried this? I try to stay away from soy, and this has soy protein, but I'm willing to try it if it has a good protein:carb ratio. I usually use whey protein in milk with fruit. I like the information on macro timing and avoiding process foods.
I'd love some advice. Is the book worth getting? Is Endurox worth it?

I utilized the core diet and had a plan written by one of their nutritionists several years ago. I had great success in losing the weight when on the plan, and had good energy for the OS workouts once I increased the calories a little. I also used Endurox and found it good to get something in my system right after the workout. If you want to stay away from soy I'm sure there are options. I know chocolate milk is listed as a good recovery drink by many. I don't like chocolate milk so have never looked in to it further.
One quick search and I found the following on one website, I'd check the calorie content to be sure
CHOCOLATE MILK:
8 oz.
226 calories
32g carbs (32 g sugars)
9g protein
9g fat (5g saturated fat)
Vitamin E: 0
L-arginine: 0
L-glutamine: 0
ENDUROX R4:
8 oz.
270 calories
52g carbs (40g sugar)
13g protein
1g fat (0g saturated fat)
I've never used the core diet book so can't comment on that.
