I'm scheduled for a half marathon on March 4. This is the end of week 9 of my 1/2 Ironman plan. Not sure how to adjust that week for this race. Help please.
Repeat the bike interval session scheduled for that week, doing this on Thursday in place of the scheduled long run.
Do the long ride on whichever day your half marathon is NOT. That is, if the race is on Saturday, move the long ride to Sunday.
The race is then your scheduled long run for that week, taking place on the weekend instead of on Thursday. That said, do the half marathon as a race vs following the scheduled workout guidance for your long run that week.
