Lori Aho Micro Thread

@Lori Aho

Great call today...so much positive energy, I love it!

We talked about so much, so I want to keep things simple. You have your Triathlon Season RoadMap™ from Coach Rich which gives you the year plan, but we talked about supplementing a bit given how competitive you want to be!

  • Commit to Run Durability...in our case, that means logging all the runs in your plan. The frequency matters. And it will help you with your running.
  • During the Short Course plan, stick one "long run" every other weekend. So on the 2nd, 4th, 6th Sundays, you run for about 10 miles. You can add some walk breaks if needed, but this run is meant to be @ TRP pace..just all day steady running (no flash). Other weekends to you plan.
  • Schedule one big ride a month from May through August...could be a century for charity or your own fun stuff. Nothing more than 6 hours (so yes, you can do off road if you want!)...but these long days go in the bank.

For your running form question, have Mike or someone post a video of you running in the General Discussion forums...we can have at you then (we promise to be nice!).

The path to greatness isn't always clear, but as long as you persist, you'll find your way!  :smile::sweat_smile:
