  • Great Podcast!!!
  • Yeah, that was awesome!

I was reminded of something from the Podcast about swimming HR, I read somewhere that the swim HR will be about 10-12 beats lower per minute for the same effort on a land based activity. Something about gravity and body position? So a 120bpm swim would be like a 132bpm run?
  • @Peter - I learned that last summer when I got the swim HR from garmin and was totally blown away how much lower HR is in swimming vs. my biking/running at similar RPE's.... I would say for me it was roughly 20 bpm slower for the same RPE in training... Bummer I did not get the HR data for the swim at UMFL...
  • I'm the exception to that: my HR in cold water swim is 10 to 20 beats faster than my bike/run in cold weather...crazy!!!
Great podcast, favorite part is "my support crew was the SHIT!!"..well...a great friend of mine always said: "u only get what u deserve", so it's only fair that u get the best support crew... thanx for being such a great humble leader Tim
