Run schedule for this week

Coach, Our home games have been changed to a road trip to Canada coming off a 10 hour bus ride with a one am arrival on Monday morning. So we head out on a 8 hour bus ride tomorrow and return early morning Sunday some where around the same time as last. Did the first two days of week without a problem and I am going to do Sat ride before I go tomorrow but was wondering what would be best for runs the rest of the week. I probably can do the Sunday run late that day with maybe a good sleep in but not sure if I can hit the times. I don't rebound off travel days like I did when younger so what are your thoughts. Thank you Dave

  • @Dave Legg - Wow...that's BRUTAL. 

    Rest assured you've done the "meat" of the week, so right now it's just staying aerobic. I'd take a 45' run each day at TRP...bonus if you can do a bit harder on Sunday to mimic the scheduled main set. 

    But if you are beat when you get back, then forget it. Not worth it this early in the year!

  • Ok thank you. I have nothing for Sunday since we got home at 4:30 am but was thinking of doing Sunday run on Monday, your thoughts?
  • Got it! In that case, I think moving it to Monday is fine, we just need to make sure you back down your expectations for the plan for Tuesday session. You are likely going to need some recovery after the weekend so rest up as needed. Good luck to the team!
