hi Coach Rich,
I'm having a tough year so far. I had a 5 week illness in February that left me bedridden. Even though I've been well since about March 6th I am having trouble getting back on track. I wasn't exactly true to the training plan in January either.
right now I am not following any plan. Just trying to get to the gym to do some core and illiptical. Around 3 times since 3/6/17 and for only 30 minutes. So here is where I need your guidance.
A) I am signed up for the Quassy half which is 11 weeks away. Obviously I cannot do it, but, if Rev3 were willing to let me switch do you think I could prepare for the Oly distance in 11 weeks? Goal,ofocourse, would be to simply finish.
OR
do I forget about Quassy altogether and just focus on the NYC triathlon which is Oly distance and is on 7/16/17? I am already signed up for this race.
either way I need a training plan(s) to follow.

Sorry to hear about your setbacks! I don't see any reason why you couldn't be ready for the Quassy Oly by then and then continue that style of training for the NYC oly.
Please update me on your race calendar here so I can plan this out for you.
