Leslie Schneider macro thread

hi Coach Rich,
I'm having a tough year so far.  I had a 5 week illness in February that left me bedridden.  Even though I've been well since about March 6th I am having trouble getting back on track.  I wasn't exactly true to the training plan in January either.

right now I am not following any plan. Just trying to get to the gym to do some core and illiptical. Around 3 times since 3/6/17 and for only 30 minutes.  So here is where I need your guidance.

A) I am signed up for the Quassy half which is 11 weeks away.  Obviously I cannot do it, but, if Rev3 were willing to let me switch do you think I could prepare for the Oly distance in 11 weeks?  Goal,ofocourse, would be to simply finish. 
OR
B) do I forget about Quassy altogether and just focus on the NYC triathlon which is Oly distance and is on 7/16/17? I am already signed up for this race.

either way I need a training plan(s) to follow.
