possible races

Coach, looking at a half marathon June 10 in Jackson Hole Wyoming and possible 703 in Canada July 30 instead of races I thought early in my season due to some family things that have since come up. Is the 70.3 race to close to Ironman CDA? Your thoughts

That 70.3 is just 4 weeks before IMCDA which is presumably your 'A' race.  It would be against all EN guidance since you are blowing a huge taper/recover hole in a critical period during your IM build.  You might still race well at IMCDA but you won't race as well as you could have.

Paul,
Thank you for the input as that is exactly the type of info I was looking for and sure don't want to hurt the IMCDA race. Hard to find races that might fit in living in Montana if all these family plans come to be, I will figure it out
