Great topic for discussion William. I haven't done run intervals this OutSeason so that I could push the bike WKOs; adding intense speed work with everything else in the OS would have been too much. Building run durability was my main goal - I figure speed work can wait until the Get Faster program starts.
Where are all the ladies in the JOS?? I know I'm not one to talk as this might be my 4th or 5th post... oops. I've promised myself I'm making no more excuses for missed workouts (of which there have been many) but rather, just pick it up from here/now. This had been a great (run) week relatively for me - totaling 27 miles (more than half of that exploring a running mecca - Singapore) - and ending with an awesome 10 miler today where I hit my z4 intervals and finished really strong. Building right up to my first shakeout race of the year next weekend - Oakland 1/2 Mary.
C'mon ladies, let's bring it home strong and share what you're up to, whatever it may be! You too, gents, although you don't really need the nudge.
"Paul Curtin" - good looking 10 mile run there! @William Jenks - looks like you are banging on all cylinders now and your week over week TSS is rising!
~36 miles for me this week with ~5 in there at Z4.
@Gordon Cherwoniak way to get that run going! @Shaughn Simmons that's a great week of running, especially with the bike and swim work you put in! @William Jenks I don't know what the official EN answer is. If I'm not too fatigued I try to prioritize the intervals and not worry too much about the overall pace.
