Minimalist plan misnamed??

I followed the the advanced minimalist HIM plan in my leadup to IMPR 70.3 last weekend.   

It didn't seem very minimalist with 3.5 hour rides (about 75 miles for me) and 2 hours runs (16-17 miles).    

I skipped all the "Low Priority" WKOs and I was still putting in 9-10 hours a week.   My guess is the full plan would have been 11-12 per week which doesn't seem minimalist for a 70.3??

  • I think it's called the minimalist plan because after you follow it, you will finish the 70.3 in a minimalist amount of time  :p which you did!
