FOS Week 9 Run - SHINY NEW NUMBERS!
How did the testing go for everyone last week? I would like to formally welcome you all to the second half of the OS.
Some run accommodations have been made due to those shiny new numbers you have:
The weekday run volume has scaled back in duration and your long, hard Sunday run is still long but z5 intervals have replaced the Z4 we've come to love and those will hurt!
Hurt in a good way though. ;-)
This is the point where I must pull the rip cord and eject from the OS as I am starting up my tri specific training for the year ahead. I am still going to lead the FOS run forums as this helps me feel a sense of community that I have grown to adore over the last 4 years in the haus.
Make every workout count! GO IAN!

Great job everyone!

@Shaughn Simmons - great run!
Descended a set of 15x100 Free and followed with a 3mi run, descending Zn3->Zn4. I'd be faster if I could move the body comp in the right direction

Well I got a truck load of bricks dropped on me by our super Coach P. He wants me to transition to my IM plan today. Talk about give a girl some notice! I am so nervous. First time in an IM plan. The work looks HUGE! I new it was going to be a lot and deliberately did not look ahead. I scheduled a chat with P. next week. Need to plan a couple things out.
If it's alright with you all. I would like to continue to hang with you until the end of the FOS. It's taken 4 long years to get here. I am soooo nervous.
I did my run TT today and it sucked but I have my baseline... it only goes up from here. :-)
