Hoka Clifton 3 Vietnam vs China box label??
Hi all,
I've been wearing Clifton 3's and recently reordered a pair from the Running Wherehouse. When I went out for a run, it was clearly a different fit (lower heal support). I called Running Wherehouse and they didn't know of any changes and sent out a replacement thinking the pair I tried was defected. In the meantime i ran in my old Clifton 3's and they fit like a glove. The replacement Clifton 3's arrive and they fit like the first pair!!
I noticed the older good-fitting pair's insole says Hoka and the box label says China whereas the newer poorly-fitting insole says neutral and says Vietnam.
I've called numerous distributors who told me all their boxes say Vietnam so I called Hoka directly and they say they'r e are 2 different wherehouse's and they can't control what wherehouse orders are fulfilled from hence
you get what you get.
Upon further inspection the issue isn't even the heal but the tongue of the Vietnam shoe is shorter and thinner. This is where the lack of support comes from.
Anyone else experience this issue or know where I can find Clifton 3's in a 10.5 made in China??
Thanks for reading.
