Bridget Pichette - season plan question
Hi Coach Rich,
I'm just coming off of the Intermediate/Advanced OS for Jan. (I did the biking for advanced, running was lower). I think I should be transitioning into the swim camp, but I misplaced my season schedule that you sent to me. Could you resend, but I also wanted you to know that I'm now biking 3-4 hours 1day on the weekend to ramp up to a group biking event called B2VT (132 miles on June 10). I'm still doing the half IM in Sept.
Thanks for forwarding my plan.
Bridget

3-4hrs is fine. You may want to do a couple 100mi rides in advance of that 132 mile event, just to get used to sitting on the bike that long and to wrap your head around pacing. For 132 miles there's really no room for "going hard" during the ride, which can sometimes be difficult in a group riding situation.
Good luck!
