@CoachR & @Coach Patrick quick update on progress & plans for remainder of year after my cervical spine surgery. I had surgery Jan 19 & hope to be cleared by the Dr May 9 (my b'day coincidentally). I have been biking & swimming again since 3wks post surgery & didn't lose much in the 3wks. I began running last week & have done 2-3mi, 6mi, 9mi & 6mi at an easy 8-8:30 soft pace to reduce bouncing to extent possible. Actually 1-6mi run was 7:15avg w 3 <7pace. I say all that to say I have lost some speed but it will come back quick I think although Keeping HR down is an issue I'm dealing with also but nothing new as I typically race w a high HR. My schedule is to do the Chattanooga 70.3 May 21 as a prep race & not compete & Louisville 140.6 Oct 15 as originally planned. I would like to add an Olympic July 9 & a century ride Aug 5 if you think this is a good option.

Wow, those are quick paces for such a serious surgery! Nice work!
Those races all sound fine to me. After Chattanooga please submit your revised race schedule to me here so I can rework your TSR.
