2 weeks to HIM gulf coast
so, Coach, I've been chilling a little bit. Maintaining my bike every monday and wednesday with two hour session on trainer today at endurance into tempo range. (it doesn't show up on Strava as I am using a polar and Computrainer so it is on my Training peaks) I've kept run volume down. Maintaining my swim workouts every Tuesday and Thursday. Will do long OWS this afternoon... then of course I have three night shifts in the ER ....
so question: I don't think that testing right now is a good idea. What do you think?
I know my numbers on the bike from hours on the computrainer and consistent WO. (still at about 145 to about 150) My running is slow but steady at present... the marathon residual has made itself known.
Shall I continue with low intensity up until the race? My pace in water has been consistent at about 2 minutes, my run for a half marathon about 9:40.
I know I can ride my bike forever at about 130 watts, without stressing my self out

Swim as as you like, but let's use ABP as the lever to get your system back (nothing harder than that).
And great hydration too!!!

will do long bike after Sunday shift with relaxing post ride run. Honestly, I only signed up for this race because they didn't schedule me to work) I am gong to have fun!
Woohoo...can't wait to hear all about it. Let's keep the "post marathon" recovery rolling for a bit longer...ease that run in. Your fitness is already high, we just need to get it into the tri space!
