  • I'm racing!

This will be my 9th or 10th HIM.  No specific goals - just have fun!  See if I can run to my potential.
  • I'm racing too!  I am actually racing as a relay.  I will do the swim and bike.  Seems like a fun place to race.
  • Of course I will be racing again on my home course.  Any questions, I'll be happy to answer.  It sounds like they have improved the swim and left the run course alone: good.  They have changed the bike which is bad because I think they have taken all the scenic parts out.  It will still be flat and fast, and windy.  We will have a lunch or dinner before the race for whoever's racing.  We will figure it out in September.
  • I'm in!  I raced challenge A.C. 2 years ago. Glad they moved it from June to Sept. Cooler and less boardwalk traffic.
  • Hmmm, should I do this 4 weeks before IM LOU?  Probably not.
  • Derrek if you are looking for a spot at 70.3 world champs 2018 in South Africa it might be worth going.  But not ideal for maximizing IMLou.
  • I'll be doing AC. This is will my first complete half iron.

  • @Juan Sanchez did you book a call with Coach Patrick?  You can discuss the above with him.
  • 49 days out! Who is ready? I cant wait!
  • I'm coming in Saturday morning.  Still recovering from IMLP. Just loaded up HIM training plan.
  • We should all get together for lunch or dinner.  Let me know what the group might be interested in and I can try to organize something.
  • I am interested in a lunch.  I am staying ballys.  Looking forward to race day!!
  • I will be there with my husband and sister-in-law, who are both racing as well.  Lunch would be great!

  • One week till race Day!!!

@carol_defazio and @Turby Wright want to go to breakfast at Gilchrist Downbeach 9400 Atlantic Ave Margate City - but I don't know what time yet.  and/or We can do lunch in the early afternoon at a place close to Bader Field (Transition) - Vagabond Kitchen 672 N Trenton Ave Atlantic City -  maybe 1:30ish.  Saturday registration starts at 9:00 and mandatory Bike Check-in starts at 10:00.  Let me know what time works for everybody.
As best I can tell there is no official swim practice.

  • Rob, we would love to go to that breakfast place after a swim, but if the group prefers going to lunch - that is fine too.  Look forward to seeing you!
  • Breakfast sounds great to me!

  • I will be getting to AC friday evening so will have to check in Saturday.  Hope to meet up with some EN team members.
  • Carol and I are going to have a nice big breakfast at Gilchrist after a short practice swim. Probably finish the swim around 9:00 am then head over. @ Rob Sabo, we owe you breakfast this year!!
