Kellie's Micro Thread about GF week 8 and Muncie

Hello,  
I raced 70.3 Raleigh on 6/4 and I was very happy with my results.   I am now racing Muncie for training and fun.  The week after Raleigh 6-5 I was so sore I did some recovery.  Week of 6-12 I was on a crewed charter in the BVI for a week.  I swam and ran x2 and stayed active the best I could and biked yesterday.  Loading up Get Faster today 6-19 and on week 8.  Looking at week 10 of Get Faster the race in on Sat. July 8th,  how should I train that week?  Usually the run test's fry's my legs for a few days and not sure doing that on Thursday is a great idea.  I was thinking about doing a drop taper starting on Thursday, Friday is travel day and Saturday is race.

    I think your best bet is to follow to get fast plan for week nine, then load up the half plan of week 20 to end on your race. This will give you the taper week right into your race and make you happy!
