Here's your personal Coach Thread, as promised. This is where you'll return to post all your "coach" questions as responses; I'll see them and reply. This first post is here to guide you through your first year on EN, so you can always come back here.
As you'll see in this forum, I handle all manner of edits and changes. So post away, know that I reply here usually M/W/F each week.

Coach Notes
With just three weeks left to go until your race, we have precious little time. The first order of business is to schedule a call with me as soon as possible: https://calendly.com/pmccrann/weektwo
You do have time to complete one race rehearsal, which is our signature workout. I will also be able to review this data and give you some guidance on the proper zones for your race day execution. When you reply to this post, be sure to include a link to your Strava profile so I can see the workouts you have been doing (please set the training log to be"public" so I can see it).
You can learn all about our race execution guidance online here: Master Race Execution Page (Half & Full) there is a lot to digest, but it is well worth your time. The training plan will tell you what to do this weekend in terms of training, if you need feedback on what you're currently doing then please break normal protocols and text me here: 617-513-3830 (normally testing is no bueno, but this is special!).

- Please reply below with WHY you chose Endurance Nation and WHY you train/compete.
- Whenever possible, please identify your goals -- time, body composition, completion...the sooner you put them down the sooner we can get towards achieving them.

Bike HR: Get it down sub 130 (or as close as you can) early on the bike...then ride by watts with an HR "cap" of 140 for the hills.
Run HR: Run the first SIX MILES at your Bike Avg HR...likely 137-140 if you can't find it. Run that HR and eat and drink...then after that you can run as you feel...
Smart early means strong later!!!!
