2018 IM Boulder Roll Call
Usually, I create this forum a week after the race but just realized that I missed asking........ Who’s in for 2018? If so, what made you decide to sign up? A race report from a team-mate? You had this bad boy on your bucket list? Enquiring minds want to know.

We found something on VRBO. An entire home for a week at $1058. Couldn't pass it up.
Been reading on facebook that the bike course is changing.
@Chris Oubre I just made reservations at the Boulder University Hotel. Right next to T2!!! I called. Not the cheapest but the location is perfect. Thinking of my Sherpa husband and ease of getting around. There is another Hotel close to the run path, Millennium Harvest House.
@jeffcornick I also saw that they are changing the bike course. Where is the VRBO house located?
@Al Truscott has a camp May 27th -June 2nd and June 2nd -June 9th.
From what I read on the Boulder FB page is that staying closer to town is better. There are shuttles that take you out to T1 race morning. Coach P says 10 days is best for acclimation.
Preview of the new bike course.

Not sure how I feel about the new course...only time will tell. But I do know the first segment is going to be tough being all flat and pulling Pops. Hills (just not super huge ones) are an advantage because I get to rest on the decent which is very important for me.
Either way we are only 18 weeks from race day. Hope everyones training is going well!
Be sure to yell at me when you lap me on the bike...and then again on the run lol.
Select your race and then it will bring you to the page to join the conversation. We are doing away with forum and moving to group me this year. All the kewl kids are hanging out in there.
i was able able to change my flight so I will get to town on Monday. Hope that’s enough time for this Louisiana boy to adapt to the altitude.
