Jeffrey Davis 2017 Official Coach Thread
Here's your personal Coach Thread, as promised. This is where you'll return to post all your "coach" questions as responses; I'll see them and reply. This first post is here to guide you through your first year on EN, so you can always come back here.
As you'll see in this forum, I handle all manner of edits and changes. So post away, know that I reply here usually M/W/F each week.

Coach Notes
Congratulations on the recently flaccid. You have lined up a super busy year, and I hope that you are recovering quickly exhibition point. At the very least you have to pinky promise me that you'll take off significant time after Marine Corps your body can recover for 2017. Overtraining can be insidious and won't show up for months at a time... Remember, I speak from experience!
Once you're done with this week's worth of recovery, and that means still no running please, then it's time to get back to work. I want you to load up the next training plan but only do the week for time and not for intensity. You also you also do not need to do any of the long runs. I would cap your running at one hour!
When you have a chance, I also suggest you read our revenge protocol in the wiki here.
That said, we really want to make sure your nutrition is bulletproof -- whatever issues you had in Placid we should iron them out. If you have a link to a race report, please post it here in your reply.
Once you are through maryland, it's really just resting in recovery to Marine Corps. You have already done to massive workouts and those races, not to mention all of the work leading up to them. Our top priority will be making sure that you get all the information out of your legs and you can recover physically quickly enough!
Let's get to work!
