Catherine Branch 2017 Coach Thread
Good morning! I have a scheduling issue for next week (Aug 5 - Aug 12). I just finished Ohio 70.3 and am transitioning to the full intermediate plan for IMCHOO. Next week will be week 6 of the 12 week plan. I'm going on vacation next week and will have no access to a bike and perhaps no pool access, though I'm working on finding a place to swim.
What to do?
Im thinking about making it a big run week, as that is my biggest limiter by far. Also, I can jump back on the week after with some big bike wkos to compensate for lost time. I'm not as worried about my swim. Although I could get faster, it's the leg I have the most confidence in.
Another option is to reduce my taper for IMCHOO and basically shift week 6 to the week after. I tend to do better with shorter tapers. This option doesn't really address what to do next week though.
Thanks!

Let's aim for a week with 2x longish runs - about 90' each with the other days being in the 5 to 60 min range. Total run milage should be 5-10 miles ore than last week. Nothing flashy in any of them, just consistency @ TRP.
Don't run the day you come home....sound good?
Ps bring and practice your run nutrition please!!
