IMUSA Tri Rally -- THANKS!!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for attending the IMUSA Tri-Rally and making it such a great weekend! It was awesome meeting many of you for the first time, seeing many of you again, and in general training and socializing with each other on the IMUSA course!

I'm just doing a quick driveby in the forum before taking the rest of the day off (yesterday was a monster travel day for me and I'm whooped from the weekend), but I have a few things for you:

  • Saturday night presentation podcast, Ironman Training for the Self-Coached Athlete is here
  • Camp Updates. I owes you Day 2 and Day 3 posts, as well as a wrap up. I'll get it done later this week.
  • Feedback on how to improve the camp? Please post to this thread
  • We'd really appeciate it if you could give us a testimonial or plug for the camp experience. We want to knock this out of the park at WI this year and LP again next year. Please email that to me at rich@endurancenation.us.
  • Pictures? Email those to me as well, or you can send me the links to an online photo album if that's where you park them.

Thanks again for a great camp experience and good luck at the race!

  •  Thank you Rich.  It was a great time, I just dried up today.... Hope your bike ride home and the burrito was great!

  • Thank you for organizing such a fun weekend. The central location of the hotel was good (even with all those Harley's motoring around). Meeting EN friends in person is always great. And though I've listened to the podcasts and watched the EN vids, it was really nice to hear you talk about IM pacing, bike gearing, and why OS and Race Prep work.
  •  Rich - you know I thought the camp was outstanding and I'm not sure how to make the camp better. One idea that I had for the Madison camp is to have name tags for talks and dinner.  Maybe I'm alone in this, but I'm aweful with names. We typically have them for the pre-race dinner and it always seems to help with the networking aspect.

  • Rich-
Thanks for organizing the camp. First tri camp ever and definitely had a great time and got some good work in.
  •  Agreed, my first camp and it was such a good time.  Very valuable lessons at the end of the day, and an excellent opportunity to meet the coaches.  Really enjoyed it.
