at mile 6 on that you go from up 1153' in .8 mile...
could not imagine doing 25+ trips on that climb!!!
I've got the perfect place to do this near me as well - 1200 gain over about 1.5 trail miles. Climb that 24 times and it's only 36 miles of walking. BUT WAIT that's only for the up hill! How do you get back down?
That same climb can be shortened to end at a fire road so with a crew, you could climb the hill to the road and then get a ride back to the bottom. It would mean a few more miles of walking, I think, but it would eliminate the down hill and it would give you a rest during the drive back to the start.

Still seems crazy, but I could be talked into it...

He's a serial entrepreneur who dabbles in ultras - founded Marquis Jet, a coconut water deal, was rapper Jesse Jaymes in a previous life, married the founder of Spanx, and is a part owner of the Atlanta Hawks. Looks like he basically rented the mountain for the weekend to have a little fun, and wants to cover that cost by conning some wannabes into glamping and tramping.
We could do this on the cheap in Snowmass during the summer - we've got a 1500' vertical rise gondola which runs 7 hrs/day and a nice HOUSE (not a tipi/tent) to rest up @ night. Or you could walk up 3300' a pop on Aspen mountain and ride the gondola down.
