Coach P closing in on T2 in 2nd AG. If he's got the run legs (he does), his trip to Hawaii this fall will involve more than just coaching and spectating.
Mike- who is this dude in 1st???? yes watching coach move up through the pack on the bike has been really fun. But there is a pack about 10min behind him. Should be fun to watch!
@jimmy augustine P can outrun the guy in 1st, but he's got a couple of really fast guys just behind (one has gone 3:11, the other 3:18). Should make for good TV.
@Doug Sutherland SS did a sub 5:30 bike, 5L29:49 and has picked it up on the pace significantly from the 4 to 10K time checks (7:21/KM & 5:04/KM). The course profile has some net climbing initial on the lap but as I posted on the dashboard. Coach P went 1:31/Km faster over these two time checks while SS is 2:17/km faster so significantly faster. Another reference point is Francis Picard a strong running who went 5:59/km and 4:13, a 1:46/km faster.
So much great energy out there today. Truly humbled by the talent on this team. Coach P was eff'n solid all day!! Congrats to all you IMMT finishers today and thanks to the rest of the team for the mojo from afar!
Great work team, finish it out for those still on the course. I did sneak a peek at the IM Triclub global rankings. EN is only 46,000 points behind 1st place. I'm interested in how this shakes out after our strong performance at IMMT.
