2018 Ironman Wisconsin Roll Call - 9 months until the big day - Who's In?
Yes, your legs are sore; you have blisters and rashes in places that only a post race shower can discover; and your statement of “I’m never doing another one of these again” are all becoming a distant memory.
Don’t act like you’re not thinking about it. Who’s in for 2018?

Shhhhhhhh.... It's not officially official yet. But I will say that "If" I dive in, it will be on a proper Tri Bike. It will be curious to see if @SteveBoer's or @ScottDinhofer's bike split will beat that of a fat man on a Fat Bike 3 years prior. Just sayin'
Even if i got down to 180 lbs and FTP up to 250W, i'd have to ride at ~210W. that'd still have me riding at a 0.84IF.
6:45 would be 167w at 180lbs.
Tremblant '14 i was 190 lbs and my NP was 140w
those numbers are based on the calculator at https://www.alancouzens.com/blog/Power.html that pretty much nailed my tremblant results
