  • @Pedro Diaz -

Here's your updated Season Plan, as promised. This is where you'll return to post all your "coach" questions as responses; I'll see them and reply. This first post is my best outline of how to proceed with your races, but you can ask any / all questions you want. So post away, know that I reply here usually Monday & Friday each week.

    Coach Notes

Great to have you "back" in full on triathlon mode! Given your mountaineering, I bet you have a TON of leg strength and general running fitness. This is why I think you should be jumping right into the 2019 Nov OutSeason®  as of 10/29 so we can get your triathlon "mojo" back. It will take a bit of time until you feel normal, but you can use the Level 1 (Beginner) main set workouts for a bit until you have adapted and can get back on a more normal build.

All of our plans are on Final Surge now, so you can just load them up and get to work...use the red chat button on the Members Site if you need more help!

    Your Notes

Last two triathlons were Ironman 70.3 Cozumel 09/2017 and Ironman Arizona 11/2017 (13:30 time). Have done Ironman Florida in 2010 and Ironman Arizona in 2012. 2018 has been and off year dedicated to mountaineering. No bike at all in 2018 and mostly training has been mountaineering oriented (walking/hiking with heavy pack and trail running (10km average runs). Mountaineering season is over and focus is moving back to triathlon for 2019. Activity level currently is 3-4 days of running per week (about 20 miles per week).

    Let's get to work!
