John Zoltak Official Coach Thread
Here's your personal Coach Thread, as promised. This is where you'll return to post all your "coach" questions as responses; I'll see them and reply. This first post is here to guide you through your first year on EN, so you can always come back here.
As you'll see in this forum, I handle all manner of edits and changes. So post away, know that I reply here usually M/W/F each week.
Power User Tip: Click the Star icon by the Title of this thread to subscribe, and you'll get email updates when I do reply.
Your Notes
Just completed IM Chattanooga 9/24/17 using the EN 20 week plan. Solid fitness prior to start training but not on EN until training started. Good swimmer; solid on bike; always been a subpar runner/slow and getting slower. My kids say I run like Frankenstein; stiff; upright. Age: 52; live in FL: hot. Always on verge hamstring cramping during IM marathon/run. Use ice and sponges in IM run. This was my 4th IM after 4 years (IMCdA 2012; IMFL 2012; IMLouville 2013).

Coach Notes
You are only a "bit" late to the OutSeason Plan but no worries. We really need you to dive in and get to work, you can do that by following the L2 or L1 workouts (depending on your current fitness). Our goal here is to get you fairly consistent & on a bit of intensity before jumping into the EN*Full Plan.
Please check out your plans there and let's get to work...if you have any further questions, please let me know!
