Thanks for the update. I think as you plan out your year, the altar is fine but we need to make sure you have a few weeks of really short running for a while so you can recover. It doesn’t mean you can’t streak, it just means that we don’t want to get aggressive with the volume there. Similarly, you don’t need a ton of work to get ready for this next ultra as you have so much in your system. Feel free to modify the duration on those final search workouts and let me know, I can jump in after you and take a peek. The key is really the bike days which will keep you fresh without taxing your body.
I believe we have at least one athlete out in Montana, it is @Jed Vanichkachorn ‘s Brother. I can’t tell if he’s still a triathlete or if he just hunts all the time, but his pictures sure do look beautiful! I am confident you will find your home there.
The big thing to be cautious of his that planter fasciitis. Remember, it typically sneaks up on you when you drastically alter your volume in a short period of time. The more we can avoid that scenario, the likelihood you will stay healthy in the more frequent running we can do over time! Keep me posted.
