Quick run down. Super windy, very cold 70.3.   Took 3rd in my age group :-)

This is the follow up race to replace the canceled New Orleans 70.3. More than that this was an opportunity to notch a victory for the family since we both had races that didn’t turn out like we wanted (injury and lightning).

Forgot to add. When we jumped in the dark and murky water a fellow competitor lost his goggles. I was able to find them with 90s before the gun went off. +1 for Karma
