edited November 2, 2017 4:17PM in Coaching Forum 🧢

Here's your personal Coach Thread, as promised. This is where you'll return to post all your "coach" questions as responses; I'll see them and reply. This first post is here to guide you through your first year on EN, so you can always come back here.

As you'll see in this forum, I handle all manner of edits and changes.  So post away, know that I reply here usually M/W/F each week.

Power User Tip: Click the Star icon by the Title of this thread to subscribe, and you'll get email updates when I do reply.

  • Thank you
This looks great. I like that I’ll be able to focus on a continuous training goal. This will keep me from taking those self coached training breaks for weeks at a time, that have been holding me back.

    Question:
I’m about to put power on my bike. Should I time trial test now with heart rate, before it gets installed within the next week or two, or should I hold off in order to test with power?

    Thanks
    Mike
  • @“mike Thead” -  no need to test yet, just keep it rolling using what you know and then will plan on testing shortly. Excited to kick off this Power project with you.
  • Looks like Garmin Vector 3S pedals aren’t shipping as quickly as I had hoped. Was going to order Stages, which would be in stock, but chainstay mounted brake would present a clearance problem on my bike.  I’ll roll with heart rate until Vector 3S pedals come in in 8-12 weeks or so
  • @“mike thead” - Sounds like a plan!
