Rod Poepping Official Coach Forum
Hi @Coach Patrick
After a succsessful IMAZ I am hooked.
This year I am doing a half Sept. 8th as my A race. I will also be doing 6-7 short distance races this summer and using them as destination races for weekend getaways with my wife. (trying to earn back SAU's after a long year of training last year).
The goal for the next 2 years is to dial in each of the disciplines and tackle another full in 2020. My bike is the strongest of my disciplines but being new to riding it's still considerably lacking. I purchased a power meter 4 weeks before IMAZ, so I am excited to see what training with a PM can do. Also I will be getting a running coach to deal with form and running issues. I am looking forward to another great year with EN.

There will be plenty of time in the outs season program in order to start building that bike in a more consistent way. The power meter will be a fantastic element in this process. For now, stay loose in active and enjoy some of the fitness from Arizona. There’s no rush to get started until January!
Here's your updated Season Plan, as promised. This is where you'll return to post all your "coach" questions as responses; I'll see them and reply. This first post is my best outline of how to proceed with your races, but you can ask any / all questions you want. So post away, know that I reply here usually M/W/F each week.
