IMWI Ride 9/11
I'm going to be in Madison to volunteer and was wondering, anyone else volunteering that would like to ride a loop of the course on Saturday afternoon? I figure I might as well kill 2 birds with one stone, plus it'll give me a good ride before Branson 70.3 the foloowing week.

I'll be game for a loop....also doing Branson.
Sounds good. I'd be driving up on Saturday morning so I'd be there around noon or so. On another note, anyone doing a Branson training weekend in August? I'm wondering about going down to ride the course on the weekend of Aug 7/8.
Bring a guest if you want to. I know of at least one other non EN person that I will ask to come along. She's doing th evolunteer for 2011 thing as well.
Since we're only 4 weeks from the IMWI weekend I was wondering who is still in for a loop of the course Saturday afternoon?
hey... I feel like I responded to this (perhaps someone else mentioned it in the thread under the IM WI race forum re: folks coming to cheer...) anyway, I'm game assuming Michele's bike fits me (we're the same size so we hope with minor adjustments it will work). I'll be in the thick of my IM training so will need to get some time in the saddle that weekend! I believe Tracy Wood is also hoping for a loop of the course. Not sure what time you're planning to get going, but if there's an OWS organized by the IM folks (I'm hearing it's not on the schedule) or just among the team, I'd like to do that and then ride...
Hey Guys, I'm in for 4.5 hours of work on Saturday. Probably leaving the Clarion at 9.

I'm in for ride from the Helix for stick and loop and back.
I'm in for crushing myself. 70-80 miles sounds good to me.
I'm still in. Crush myself, most likely. No longer doing Branson.
Will do the Barlow TT to see how close I can get to Macona's leaderboard time.
I'm with Matt S. I'm not sure about you others, but I don't suspect I'll be seeing much of Matt A.
Heads up. I plan on sucking Mancona's wheel until I blow up! That's my strategy and I'm going with it.
I plan on sucking it till the last 100 meters the fly by for my only subMancona ride
Ok, if many of you are doing the Mancona Hilly TT Detour, we'll have to link up afterwards at Up Hill Grind? PnI need to ride the course with everyone else, ENFan's, etc.
Or you guys (Matt, Hayes, and other area peeps) can say "you know, I can ride this detour any time. But when will I ever have a chance to beat the coaches in a ride?"
Personally, I have visions of setting Matt up to lead the train, with me riding 3rd wheel behind Trent's second wheel, turning on the afterburners at 150m out and representing El Pistolerro as I throw my bike across the line....
My intention is after the race finishes at Up Hill Grind I will go back to the TT loop to continue to crush myself until it it is time to ride back to town. My theory is that with a 20% grade in some sections my only two choices are hold over 85% or fall over. Anyone that wants to join me is welcome. The loop is 6.2 miles and probably about 2-3 miles before Up Hill Grind...so likely a 12 mile detour if you do it once.
Like I said, I'm hanging on Matt's wheel until I blow up. I think the race sounds like a blast. No beer for me but I will gladly accept a quad espresso.
OK, now you people have me scared. I'm going to be 8 days out from Branson, is this going to be a safe ride for me to not kill myself a week out from my A race?
