Here's your updated Season Plan, as promised. This is where you'll return to post all your "coach" questions as responses; I'll see them and reply. This first post is my best outline of how to proceed with your races, but you can ask any / all questions you want. So post away, know that I reply here usually M/W/F each week.

These are your recommended training plans, including the date you should start each one (sometimes you won’t complete a full plan but transition to another one).  You can change your plans on the Training Plan page by clicking the Move / Change button. Sue, great to hear from you! I'd like you to jump right into the January OutSeason®...you can learn more about the OutSeason Plan by clicking here. We have made some edits moving forward, and in your case I'd like you doing the Level 1 Workouts for the bike and run right now. If you need to taper for the 13.1 (or recover) go ahead and do that and focus on the bike instead. 

Then we can have you regain your Swim form in Swim Camp and then off to some good bike time in the Bike Focus plan. Once we are through that, its time to get your EN*Half Plan on!!!

  • Thanks Coach P!  I thought I had included Victoria 70.3 (June 3) in my race calendar but it doesn't look like it was added.  So, I know that will change the schedule - probably abbreviating the OS?  Then after Victoria, bumping up to the intermediate EN*Half after a week of recovery?
  • @Sue Chapman - great catch...I gotta check that survey as the first one keeps not showing. I added it in...so no Bike Focus but rather the Half Plan. 

    Key here is the one week of recovery between your "doses" of the Half plan to make sure you are ready to continue on.
