Cue the music...

In the words of Elton John, "the bitch is back!"

And this time it's not a matchy-matchy girly pink bitch, it's a hodgepodge-y, gender-neutral bitch. The handlebar decals and wheel trim are pink, the saddle is black and red, and the bike is black and yellow. *happy sigh* I finally feel comfortable in my cycling skin...

  • Looks awesome. When can you hit the road?
  • I think I'm good to ride - I'll take it out on Saturday and maybe do a quickie test spin this week. And I'm seriously considering upgrading my lights and getting bigger, blinky-er, "please don't hit me!" ones.
  • YEAH!!!!! Awesome Suzanne! What a great turn-a-round!
  • Sweet ride!
I agree with the blinky lights. You may not have to upgrade them as long as they are red and blinking. Maybe just get more...When I ride at home I'll have one on my saddlebag, one on the back pocket of my bike jersey, and if I'm feeling extra paranoid I'll put one on the back of my helmet. In bright sunshine, it's hard for cars to see the blinking so a brightly colored jersey helps too.
  • SWEET! Love the color scheme...cuz the Black 'n Gold are like mine! I'm jealous that your speedfil seems like it goes in to it's spot fairly easily. Onward to Placid!
  • Love the bike! Nearly bought the Plasma myself as it would've fitted me well - none in stock in Europe however when I was buying so picked up a deal on a 'dale Slice instead - similar fit.
    Enjoy!!

  • yeah!!!!!!! I think there are PINK blinky lights available!
  •  Glad to see that you are back in business.  As for the blinking lights they can't hurt.  I pretty much always ride with one hanging off the saddle bag, even in bright sun light.

  • "... the fevers gonna get ya when the bitch gets back..." Nice ride!!

  • Glad to see you are back in business!!

  • The problem is that both times I've been hit it's been from a driver facing me, not behind me. And white blinky lights are hard to see in bright sunlight. So, sandwich board? Feather headdress? Sidecar?
  • Were they halogen or LED lights? Some of those can be bright like car headlights, if aimed at the height of the driver's eye.
