Sound Familiar?

This is me, during the three months before an Ironman - or back when I was doing two or more a year, I felt I was eating like this 9 months out of 12. Not 8,000 cal/day, but 4-5,000 most days. The comments are always as interesting as the articles, e.g.: "It sounds so difficult, not to say abnormal, to have to eat so much to get all the calories in for the long race (50 kilometers = 31 miles). How about just cutting down the length of the race?"
